The new simulator will incorporate a large motion base. At the conference, GlobalSim will demo a simulation of a ship and a construction crane designed specifically for military operations.

GlobalSim, based in Sandy, UT, designs, installs, and maintains simulator systems for a variety of industries, and has installed nearly 200 systems on five continents. GlobalSim announced they developed VR training simulators featuring the HTC Vive headset and real equipment controls, offers a training experience with superb realism at an affordable price when compared to traditional simulator systems.

According to the company’s website, what separates the GlobalSim VR platform from others on the market is the seamless integration of real-life controls and technology that allows operators to see their hands in the virtual environment.
